From fa5f3d51cca6be466d5f3448f0a5e3fe5b239ddf Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Arnas Donauskas Date: Sun, 31 May 2026 20:28:17 +0300 Subject: [PATCH] fix(i18n): pin @swc/helpers >=0.5.17 via overrides to satisfy npm ci MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Next 16's package metadata is self-contradictory: it declares @swc/helpers@0.5.15 as a direct dependency, but also lists @swc/helpers >=0.5.17 as a (non-optional now) peer dependency. With only Next in the tree this slid by because the peer was marked optional, but next-intl pulls in @swc/core which has the same peer constraint without the optional flag. Local npm 11 auto-resolved the conflict by hoisting the higher version. CI runs npm 10 (bundled with Node 20 per .github/workflows/ ci.yml) and refused with `Missing: @swc/helpers@0.5.23 from lock file`. Adding @swc/helpers to the overrides block forces a single resolved version (0.5.23 — current latest matching ^0.5.17) across the tree. Verified locally with a clean `rm -rf node_modules && npm ci` plus the full CI pipeline (lint, typecheck, test, build).
